Online Music Distribution on ReverbNation

January 5th, 2009 · by matt

ReverbNation is getting into the online music distribution game.  Their service appears less expensive than iTunes or TuneCore, and also offers free promotion tools.

From Wired.com:

“For small bands, [mapping marketing efforts against sales spikes] may not be important, but for the mid-tier acts using our existing tools as they are meant to be used, it could be pretty huge,” ReverbNation COO Jed Carlson told Wired.com. He mentioned that lots of ReverbNation artists had requested the feature. “It takes us one step closer to being one stop shop,” he added.

For those not yet using ReverbNation for their promotion tools, check out this summary of benefits.
